You better watch out, you better not pout....

SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING TO TOWN! This has become Landon's favorite new song! It is so cute when he sings this along with Flo Rida's Low, my children are thugs, hehehe! Anyways, I thought I would post a copy of our Christmas card from last year and this year, one because my sister-in-law who designs them is the best, and two because it is mind boggling to me to see how much my children have grown in one year.

On a related note, we have never been so excited about Christmas at our household like we are this year! Jeremy and I seriously felt like this day would never get here. I know Addie is going to love what Santa brings her, but Landon gets it this year and he is going to be elated. I will take plenty of pics to share. Can't wait!!!!!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Let us not forget the reason that we celebrate this time of year, and Thank God that he brought that baby to this Earth so that we would have eternal life and forgiveness. My cup runeth over!
This was last years card it had a quote from the Grinch on it!

I swear

These two people love each other more than words can describe. It is amazing how a daughter's love is automatic for their daddies. She is so beautiful to me in this picture. (Her daddy doesn't look bad himself if I do say so myself!)

Disney on Ice

As I have mentioned in previous posts, Landon has a true love for Disney movies. Well, Joe, Jennifer, and Georgia called and invited Landon to go to Disney on Ice with them. I knew that he would absolutely love it so I, of course, said yes. Here a two pics from the trip. Joe and Jen said that he and Georgia just loved it! The first act was Cars, and the second was Little Mermaid, which is one of Georgia's favorites. Needless to say I think you can tell by the looks on their faces that they absolutely loved Disney on Ice.

Thank Joe and Jen! He loved it!

PS...Please pardon Landon's head. The day before he fell on the babysitters fireplace and got a nasty boo boo!

Trick or Treat

I hope everyone had a great Halloween. This year was pretty fun for us because Landon kind of got it, but didn't really get it, you know, so he didn't care about walking to 100 houses, but was so pumped to where his costume. Landon has a true PASSION for Disney movies, especially Pixar movies, his favorite being Toy Story or Cars. So this year he was Buzz Lightyear, his idol. From the moment I bought this outfit with him with me, it consumed his thoughts. It is all he could think about. While I was purchasing Landon's outfit, I found the costume for Addie. She is Minnie Mouse, and the whole reason I purchased this outfit is because of the shoes. These are real high heels ladies. I mean they are big yellow high heels, and are the funniest things I have ever in my life seen on a child. They actually fit, and she is obsessed with wearing them. I hear all the time, "Shoes mommy, shoes mommy", while she is bringing them to me to put on her feet. Needless to say she was precious. Here are just a few pics from our day at the Kemp's celebrating Halloween.

This is Georgia and Ty as a princess and a frog prince. Addie as Minnie Mouse and Landon as Buzz Lightyear. This is Addie. Enlarge this pic and get a look at those heels baby. The wind was blowing her little dress up.Lastly, this is Jackson as a werewolf, which totally terrified the children. McKay and McKinley were present for the festivities, but did not have their outfits so that is why there is no pics of their preciousness.

We had a great time! Holidays are really starting to get fun!

Where has the time gone?

I know that it has been forever since I posted last. I am not really sure where to even begin. Life just has a way of reminding you to step back and make sure you are focusing on the right things. I definitely strive to do this always, but sometimes I just want to look at blogs or watch Grey's Anatomy than do those 4 loads of laundry that are in the middle of my laundry room floor. Anyways, life got busy and I just haven't blogged. I really want do this more often because I intended to use it as a journal so that I would not forget things, and they have these really cool sites that will turn your blogs into book form, with pics and all. So, I am going to try to keep up. I also have so many blogs that I read on a daily basis and love the different things they do, and just want to do stuff like this more. So here is a rundown of recent happenings...no pics though sorry.

1. We are moved into our house and LOVE it! Landon adores the house, and has a fenced in backyard that he can play in with a playset, and most important Bailey (our dog) to be his constant companion. This has been my lifesaver, I can just say, "Landon want to go outside and play?", and just push his little booty out the door and watch from my kitchen, and know he is safely playing. Addie wants to do the same, but I don't trust her yet. She wants to do everything her 3 year old brother is doing and it makes me a nervous wreck.

2. I suprised Jeremy with a trip to New York City to see the Yankees play in their final season in the original stadium. Now, this is a post all in itself, and I will definitely get back to that, but we had a blast, and it was a much needed get away for us.

3. Right before we left for New York we found out we were pregnant with our third baby, and were really excited but a little scared about what a 3rd Jeremy & Tess Kemp child would bring to the table. Well, there were a lot of ups and downs through out the first trimester, and we lost the baby on Sunday. This has been pretty traumatic because even though I had obstacles in the 14-15 weeks I was pregnant this never crossed my mind because the other two were perfect pregnancies with no troubles. Needless to say there were some circumstances that arose on Monday, and it has shown itself to be a pretty tough few days. I know God is in control, and I am trying to put that faith in Him completely, but pray for us. I am telling you the Lord reveals Himself in so many ways, throughout the last few days God has not only provided but healed, and He is truly present in our lives everyday.

These are the happenings in the last few weeks of our lives. I promise to keep this more updated, but bare with me, life is crazy all the time.

We got a house!

Praise the Lord, we have a house. We should be closing on our house on Friday, if everything goes as planned. We have signed contract in hand though, so we are relieved! I will be posting few and far between because I have no computer at my in laws house right now, and don't want to post from work!

In other news this blog thing is amazing. Somehow I find all of these wonderful blogs that just crack me up. Somehow I have found this blog from a cute little lady whose husband is also a coach, and let me just say I feel her pain constantly. Through her blog I found another gal who has just started a company called Monogram Me. HELLO.....the cutest stuff you have laid your eyes on! Anyone can order from her she has pay pal and can ship it to you. Go take a look. I will have one of each please.

In the next few weeks I am going to be linking these blogs that I have stumbled upon on my sidebar for your viewing pleasure, but have to figure it out first, and introduce myself to the lovely ladies. In the meantime check MonogramMe. They are new business so make sure you leave a comment to tell her how cute her stuff is!

Help I'm moving and I can't get up...

This is what moving feels like to me. I am losing my mind!!!!!!!! I do not even know what to do with myself I have so much to do! Don't get me wrong I am so THANKFUL we sold our house, but hello!!!...where did all of our stuff come from. Seriously if you were to walk in my front door right now you would think that a tornado went right through the middle of my house. I am drowning in crap!

Moving on, we had the best time of our lives at the beach! I am still hating that we left the sand, waves, wonderful smell of the ocean, the beautiful breeze, and the wonderful 30 minute rainstorms that justified pulling my two fish out of the pool long enough to get a bath and eat some dinner. Oh for it to be the week of the 4th of July everyday! Can't wait til next year! (Still pics to come)

Next, I want a house! Jeremy and I are moving into his parents lovely home Wednesday of this week, and I am so thankful, BUT.....I want a house! We are looking so hard! Anyways, let's all just say a little prayer and hope that we can find something fast so I don't get too attached to the wonderful Kemp home, and attached to having those extra sets of hands around all of the time.

Enough complaining for me! My life is truly blessed and I am thrilled that it is as perfect as it is! Here is to looking at the positives! Have a great week!

Beach Bums!

We are here at the beach and we are having the BEST time. I told Jeremy just a minute ago that out of the eight years I have been coming to the beach this has been the best. I am really not sure what is different, but we are having a blast. I thought that I would just give a run down of how my days go here at the beach...

7:00 am...kids wake us up ready to go.

7:30 am...after Jeremy and I are forced out of the bed, we go see KK and Pop and eat breakfast.

8:30 am...after I get everyone fed and lathered up with sunscreen we head down to the beach to play in the sand for about an hour or an hour and a half.

9:30 am...we then head to the pool to play with all of our aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins. In case you do not know there are 19 Kemp's here at the beach!

11:00 am...we head into the condo to eat lunch. By this time it is apparent that my kids can no longer function and they must go take a nap to be able to be normal social creatures.

12:00 pm...my husband and children head to the condo to go to bed and sleep. Now, this is fantastic. Jeremy wants to take a nap everyday, and it works out perfectly for my vacation to start at this time.

12:00 pm... I head to the beach, BY MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I lay out in my chair, read a book, and usually fall asleep, with my mouth wide open. Everyday so far, i have had a family member come up to me and say your mouth is open. It is paradise.

3:30 pm...My kids wake up and join me at the pool. We swim with everyone again, and just have a grand ole time.

4:30 pm... We head inside to figure out what we are doing for dinner. This is usually deciding between going out and talking Kay into fixing something that is much better than anything you can buy in a restaraunt here.

We then head home at whatever time and either go swimming again, play outside, or just hang out in the condo and get all of the kids ready for bed.

I am here to tell you that for some reason, although the same as every other year, this has by far been the best! I feel like my life is just complete!

Thank you vacation for giving me the time to appreciate everything that God has blessed me with! Everyone should take the time to just sit back and love the family God has given you!

I will post pics later, until then have a GREAT week!

The Good, the bad, and the ugly

First off I am so sorry to the four or five people who read my blog that I have not written in almost a month. I did not even realize it had been that long. Unfortunately there are no pics to accompany this post, but I hope it is enjoyable none the less.

The Good: WE SOLD OUR HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our little house has been for sale for a year now, and we are so thrilled that it has worked out! Three or four posts ago I told you some good things may be happening and both things came through. Jeremy got the head coach job for Gainesville, and we sold our first little house. I think that we have until the end of July to get everything out and ready! I am so excited though!!!!! As for where we will go, we don't know yet. We have a few potential places, but in the meantime if we have not found anything by the end of July, then we will probably be living in the upstairs of Jeremy's parents house. So, we are over the moon that this worked out for us!

The Bad: Now we have to move! AHHHHHH! I have never actually moved my belongings. Yes, my parents moved 100 times, but I never had to actually do anything really. Then when me and Jeremy moved to Gainesville we barely had anything to our names. Nothing that really meant anything anyways. Now, Ha, we have so much crap, and I don't even know where to begin. If anyone has tips for me let me know, better yet, come on over.

The ugly: My little Addie has Hand, Foot, Mouth disease. Let me clarify, she has a viral infection which causes you to get blisters on your mouth, feet, hands, and bottom. She ran a fever all night Friday, and I finally got it to break Saturday morning and then she slowly started getting a rash. That rash went away and my mom and I just thought that it was rosiola, but then she started getting blisters on her tongue and all around her mouth. I never even noticed the blisters that the doctor pointed out on her little hands and feet. She is pitiful, what is worse is that you can not take anything for it.

So our lives are good, but extremely busy! Good news is is that summer baseball is almost over and we are heading to the beach! I will have a lot of pics from the beach. I promise not to be gone so long next time. I will post some more things here in the near future about my wishlist for my new house! This way all of you guys know exactly what I want when you go to the store to buy me something. Just kidding, but at least you will know what I am wishing for.

WAY TO GO JEREMY!!

A few posts ago I told you guys that there were some things that may be happening in our lives, well, one of them has happened! My husband is the new Head Baseball Coach at Gainesville High School! Since I first met Jeremy 8 years ago he has been someone's assistant coach. First there was Coach Kay, Jeremy adored him and learned so much from him. Then there was Doc Fowlkes, Jeremy also played for him in college. Jeremy worked really hard at West Georgia and really learned a lot about himself as a coach and his own work ethic. Then there is Gainesville. Jeremy was so excited to get to move to Gainesville after 10 years of being away at school and Carrollton. When Jeremy took the job as Wayne's assistant Gainesville was coming off of a pretty bad season. Jeremy really brought the boys spirit up and really started teaching these boys baseball. He wasn't just teaching them the game, but the love and determination for life and baseball. He really has worked his tail off for this program and has so many goals and great ideas for the future. I am so proud of his hard work and determination. I can't wait to see what the next years bring him. Way to go Coach Kemp!! To read more you can go here and read.http://www.gainesvilletimes.com/news/article/6032/

I love this pic. It shows how happy he really is.

Tess loves Jeremy

I absolutely positively want to declare my love for my fabulous husband! Today is my wedding anniversary to this man, and I can honestly say my life is richly blessed because of him! I can not express in words or actions how much Jeremy does for me and my family on a daily basis to remind us just how much he loves us. So in honor of how much I love him I am going to do a top 10 list of why he is the best husband!

1. He loves his kids with his WHOLE heart! They are truly the reason he lives!

2. Landon is truly his very best friend! They are silly with each other all the time! Landon is the only person who does not bother Jeremy about what he did all day, and Jeremy REALLY appreciates that! Once Jeremy is home the fun begins for this little man!

3. Jeremy takes great pride that Addie is already the biggest daddy's girl that has walked the face of the planet. She has been saying "Da Da" since she was like 5 months old, and still to this day has not said "Mama", and Jeremy loves that!

4. He is so passionate about his job. Jeremy looks at all of his players as if they were his own children. He loves them so much he gets choked up saying good bye to them at there last banquet, and I have only seen him cry about 5 times in 8 years. He is inspirational to the people who see his passion for the sport of baseball and the kids he gets to hang out with everyday!

Justin Fordham & Zach Bennett when Addie was 10 MIN. old! 2 of Jeremy's players.

5. He loves his own cooking. Jeremy is a master griller (don't tell him I said that), and after everything he grills he will ask everybody, "Don't you think that is the best steak you have ever had? Do you think it is better than Outback's?" For that I love him, because babe, yes they are better than Outback's.

6. I love that he will forget an occassion, but will still make sure by the end of that day I have the best gift a wife could ever want!

7. I love that he wants to make sure our family is a spiritual family. He made a resolution that we would go to church every Sunday, and even Sunday School. So far we have not missed a Sunday!

8. I love that he really wants to spend time in his yard. He has so many wonderful ideas and intensions but just no time due to number 4 on this list.

9. I love that he is such a family man! He loves his family so much. I love that he still hugs his mom just like a two year old boy hugs their mommy. I love that he listens to everything his dad says to him, even though he trys to make him think he doesn't. I love that he still worships the ground all three of his older brothers walk on, and still want to be just like them all.

10. I loves that he loves me as much as he loves all of these other people and things! He is the most astonishing husband, and I thank God everyday that he allowed me to meet this man 8 years ago. Jeremy has made me the happiest woman on earth. He makes sure that I want for nothing. He makes sure that I know every morning that he loves me and will think of me all day long by making sure he kisses me and the kids good bye, no matter how late he is running. He makes sure that I know he thinks I am a good mommy everyday. He makes sure that above all else that I feel loved everyday.

I love you baby! Thank you for such a wonderful marriage and making my life complete!

Fingers Crossed!!

I really do not have a whole lot to post about today. Adam is graduating from Gainesville High School today! He has truly been such a joy to have in our lives these last few months! My children adore him, and so do we! It has been really nice having an extra pair of hands and eyes. Also, it doesn't hurt that I can totally dominate him on the Wii! (ha ha) Anyways, congrats buddy! We love you so much!!!!

Also, we have some really big things that could be happening in our lives. I will go into more detail once things start happening later, but please just pray for our little family!!! I swear if I get one more fever blister and my husband does not sleep one more night someone will have to pay. The things that could be happening would be huge for our family so fingers crossed that everything goes our way!!

That is really all that I have today. My mom is coming into town this weekend and we are going to be having a day of sewing and cleaning at my house. I am going to be trying some new fun crafts this weekend which I will share more on in the next few posts! I love when she comes to my house because she helps me out TREMENDOUSLY! We love our Noni so much! (I was going to post pics, but I can not get them to pull up, sorry!)

We're Back!!

My life has finally somewhat gone back to normal after the insanity that was last week. Landon's surgery went great! He really shocked me. The second, third, & fourth day are definitely the worst! While he really wanted to eat anything, I pretty much stuck to just feeding him ice cream, noodles, jello, pudding, etc. He was loving life as far as meals go. Anyways I was so thankful for all of our family that went up to the hospital to check on him. We have the best family in the world.

Also Adam went to prom a few weekends ago. It is so strange going from having Landon, and then kind of having an 18 year old too. Even though he is not my own, I still feel so proud of him and think he is such an awesome guy!

These are of Adam and his parents Salita and Mike, then the picture of the family, and then the last pic is of Adam and his girlfriend Honey Beth, and yes that is her real name.

Lastly, I will leave you some pics of my precious youngins! My how they bless our lives. Landon is now 2 1/2, and Addie is 1. I love my life!

Cute, but the next pic lets try and be serious, ok!

Landon, seriously just one picture of you without a goofy look on your face!

Good enough! Sweetest face I have ever seen! You are precious child!

Say Cheese! Beautiful Smile!

Such a sweet girl! Baby lovin on her baby!

Please excuse this blog as we are having some technical difficulties

Ok, so as I said in my last post that if my husband would download my pics, I would post more, well he did and then our computer crashed. Anyways, our friend, Tim, the computer genious, took it to his house and is currently trying to fix it. Trust me, I have so much to blog about it isn't even funny.

Landon is having his tonsils taken out on Wednesday, and mama is nervous! On the way to his pre-op this morning Jeremy said he felt like he was going to throw up, and I said why, and he said I don't like the idea of Landon having surgery. For those that don't know Jeremy and Landon are best friends. They don't just have a father son relationship, I mean they talk about everything! (Cute huh!!) I have told Landon that his throat is sick and that Dr. Stuart is going to make it feel better, but I mean come one, how do you tell a two and half year old about surgery? Please!!!!!

Adam's mono is gone. He was cleared to play last week and everything is good there. Gainesville High finished second in the region and start playoffs on Friday against Westminister at Gainesville, so that will be fun!! Jeremy went to go get checked for mono when we found out Adam had it. When he went and got checked, they told him he was good as far as mono went but uh, hey by the way you need your gall bladder out. WHAT!!!!!!!!, i said. So we are waiting for baseball season to finish, which I hope isn't for a few more weeks, GO RED!!!

I think that is all that is going on here. Sorry so long, and sorry no pics. Once we get our computer running again, I will get everyone up to date on beautiful family with pics.

So much and so little pictures...

I really have a ton of stuff that I want to post, HOWEVER, my lovely husband will not fix our computer to upload our pics off of our camera, and I can not figure it out. So, needless to say I don't have pics to go with my post. I will add some random ones, but they will have nothing to do with the things I have to share. So here goes...

As some of you may know we have let a young man by the name of Adam Parker move into our house and he goes to Gainesville High School where Jeremy teaches and coaches. Adam has come down with mono!!! Poor thing is exhausted and just does not feel great. I feel so bad for him because he only has two weeks left in baseball season and he has been ordered to sit out so that he stays safe. The danger with mono is that your spleen can swell and any activity that could cause that to rupture could be very unsafe. So, needless to say he is just going to be sitting watching a lot of baseball, while trying to keep his icky germs to himself. Well, Jeremy and Adam, ended up sharing a drink before Adam was diagnosed with this lovely sickness and he started to feel pretty icky too, so off to the doctor he went. The doctor tested him for mono and thank goodness that came back negative, but while at the doctor's office they discovered he needed to have his gall bladder removed. WHAT??? That is what I said. So we are going to try and make it to the end of baseball season and then have that minor surgery.

Landon has an ENT Dr. visit scheduled for Monday the 28th. You should see this child's tonsils. (You could if Jeremy would fix the camera to download my pics) They are humongous! When we went for his two year check up and his doctor asked if I noticed him snoring a lot. I said yes, he snores like a 40 year old man. Well, she says, he has extremely large tonsils. She told me she would like to try and wait to take them out until he is 5 because, listen to this, they could grow back and we may have to have the surgery more than one time, if we do it before that. Anyways, they are so large now, that I notice him stopping breathing every now and then and then will gasp for air. Like sleep apnia in older men. So, we have an appt., and I am almost sure they will say they need to be removed. Sounds like the hospital will know the Kemp clan well here in the next few weeks.

Well enough boring medical drama with my family. I hope that I can get you some pics up of Addie's birthday here in the next few days. Also, I have some really cute ones of the kids just playing around being their normal hyper selves. I will leave you with a pic of Landon and Addie at Addie's newborn photo shoot. My favorite picture so far of the two of them.

Addie is 1!!!

I thought that a good first post to catch you up on things is Addie's first birthday. This little girl came into our lives 3 weeks early, and just came right on out (if you know what I mean)! She has been a wonderful baby, as was Landon, and I could not be more thankful for her! She is still super sweet and very girly. She sings all the time, and I mean ALL the time. She gets embarassed easily and hides her face with this very coy smile whenever you catch her doing anything that she knows is cute. She loves Landon, and looks for him first thing every morning. Once she finds him she always goes and lays her head on him first thing and he gives her the biggest hugs and kisses, sometimes a little too enthusiastically! She is a true joy, and I am honored God chose Jeremy and I as her parents! I look forward to the rest of our lives with this wonderful addition!
She was born only weighing 5 lbs. Now, while she has definitely grown, she is still my long and lean girl. She weighs 19 lbs. and is 29 1/2 in. long. She is totally supermodel status the doctor tells me! We had one of her parties at my in-laws house on Saturday and had that whole clan up to their house for food and of course lots of chaos! Some of you may not know, but there are 9 grandchildren and 7 of are under the age of 6. So needless to say that is what loud house when we are all together. I will put pics on a later post.
Happy Birthday Addison Kay Kemp, April 15 2007! WE LOVE YOU ADDIE!

Here We Go....

So, I have recently stumbled across the blogging world, and have become a bit obsessed. I love to look into people's lives and see how they live, and frankly just find it captivating. Then I started thinking what a great way to keep my family, who is spread everywhere, posted on everything that is going on in our crazy, but extremly blessed lives.

I will try and post on a pretty normal basis with pictures and all. I am trying to figure this out as I go along, so hang with me. I hope that you enjoy our family, and like I said try to keep up.
